When you book your newborn session with Renee V Photography, I reserve your place based on your estimated due date rather than a fixed photography date.Because babies can arrive weeks early or days late, I only take a limited number of newborn bookings each month. This allows me to keep flexibility in my schedule and accommodate babies whenever they decide to arrive.

My baby arrived early - What should I do?

As soon as your baby is born, simply send me a message.Once I know your baby's arrival date, we will arrange your session within the ideal newborn photography window.I photograph newborns when they are approximately 4–12 days old, as this is often when babies are sleepiest and most settled for those beautiful curled-up newborn poses.If your baby arrives earlier than expected, I will work with you to find the best available session date.

What if my baby needs extra time?

Sometimes babies arrive early and need a little extra support in hospital or special care.Your baby's health will always come first.If your newborn needs additional time before coming into the studio, we can discuss the best timing for your session. Every situation is different, and I will always do my best to accommodate your family's circumstances.

Why booking during pregnancy is important.

Many parents assume they can wait until after birth to organise newborn photos.

However, because I limit the number of newborn sessions I accept each month, waiting until your baby arrives may mean I no longer have availability.
