Maternity FAQ's

When is the best time to have a Maternity Photoshoot?

We recommend having your maternity images taken around 34 – 36 weeks as your bump is nice and firm and round.  Of course, photos can also be taken in any other week of your pregnancy.

How long is a Maternity session?

The session is approximately 1hr and includes 2-3 dress changes of your choice.

How much is a Maternity photography session?

The session fee of $100 is due at time of booking to secure your spot in my calendar, then this comes off which ever Package you purchased once you have viewed the Maternity images via online gallery.

What packages do you offer?

Please contact the studio for packages, they start from $270 for Mini Maternity package.

What is included in a Maternity photoshoot session?

The Studio offers a range of gowns, clothing, and flower crowns to create a beautiful unique look for yourself. You are also invited to bring your own clothing if you have something specific in mind.  Please see the Client Closet page for a range of gowns we have available to use - Client Closet

Maternity sessions are usually relaxed and calming, a beautiful way to welcome the new baby into your life. Having your hair and make-up done professionally is a great way to feel glamorous. It is truly a pamper day (even with swollen feet).  This is an additional cost of $130

Once you have booked your Maternity photography session, we will send you a list of items we need you to bring such as underwear styles and colours.

All the mums on your website look amazing!, will I look the same?

All my Mums to be are regular woman, not models.... however most  do book in Hair & Makeup.  I work with a Professional Hair & Makeup artist if you want to book in for yours.

I do know how to pose my pregnancy mums well to create beautiful and flattering images of all body types.  You don't need to know how to pose, that's what I am here for, to direct you.

When do I get to see my Maternity photographs?

Approximately 1-2 weeks after your shoot, via private online gallery.

Will I receive the images un-edited or raw?

All my images are professional enhanced to Fine Art images.  I do not supply Raw or un-edited files.  You will find this is the case with all professional photographers.

Can I order professional prints through you?

Absolutely!  I work with the top professional print labs in Australia.  Your images deserve to be printed and displayed for your family to enjoy and treasure for years to come.  Renee V Photography offers beautiful high quality prints and custom products.  From traditional prints. mounted prints and gallery wrapped canvases, to premium heirloom albums and acrylic blocks there is truly something for everyone!

What if I want more images than my package includes?

Once you view your gallery, and you decide that you love more images than what's included in your package, you are welcome to purchase additional images at $45 each.

Covid 19

I am fully vaccinated (2 shots plus booster) and take all the precautions to protect my little and big clients.  Studio and props are always sanitized before every session.  I also wear a mask and gloves throughout the entire session.
